2007 Contest Venues Announced

DCUK are, at last, pleased to announce details of the venues for the 2007 season.

The first show, "Avon Alive", will take on Sunday 10th June at the Bath City Football Club ground at Twerton Park, Bath and will provide an excellent launch for the new season.

On Saturday 7th July we will be moving south for the "Southern Sounds" contest which will be held at Chelmsford Sports Centre in Essex.

Whilst two weeks later we travel to the north of the country where the Leigh Centurions Rugby League Club ground at Hilton Park in Leigh will play host to the "Northern Renaissance" contest on Sunday 22nd July.

The season will come to an exciting climax with us returning to the Burton Albion Football Club ground, The Pirelli Stadium, in Burton On Trent for the British Drum Corps Championships on Sunday 16th September.

The DCUK Board are very aware that the announcement of  these venues is later than originally hoped and apologise that things have taken longer than previously advised but many obstacles had to be overcome (including sports teams schedules, ground re-seeding and noise concerns) and full details of each event will be issued approximately 3/4 weeks beforehand and will be available via this website within the contests section
