Concord to feature on "X Factor"

Concord's Ceremonial Fanfare Team will appear on the ITV television recording of "The X Factor" when it comes to Sheffield for its open auditions.

Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and the rest of the panel will be greeted by the Lord Mayor of Sheffield at the City Hall when the programme is produced in July this year. The event is to be broadcast to an estimated audience of 12 million people.

The six-strong fanfare team has been specially requested by the production company to introduce the arrival of The X Factor judging panel at the Sheffield city centre venue. Whilst the team are used to performing a large prestigious events, this will provide their largest audience to date.
