New Additions to Southern Aurora Staff Team

Southern Aurora are very please and excited to announce new additions to their show design and staff team for 2008, all previous members of Auroras staff.

Danny Palmer will write the visual; Danny has been involved with Aurora right from the start and was responsible for the 2002 DCUK championship winning show, Stormworks, and the A class winning 2005 Means of Access show. Danny has worked tirelessly behind the scenes over the years and it is a great bonus for us to have him back at the heart of our visual team.

Greg Ovenden, will write the percussion book, Greg played a major role in Auroras history. He originally wrote for Southern Aurora in 1999, becoming Percussion Caption Head from 2000 to 2002, during this period the corps was awarded the DCUK High Percussion in 2000 and 2001, DCUK Champions in 2002. Greg became a Dynasty Marching Percussion arranger and endorsee in 2001.

Paul Riddell (Paulie), Paul rejoins the Visual staff. Paulie was Drum Major in 2005, he is well known throughout the Drum Corps Community, and brings years of experience. He played a key role in creating the atmosphere and work ethic that brought success in 2005.

They are delighted to welcome all three back to Aurora, a full staff line up and 2008 show details will be announced shortly.
