Anne Hibbert - Poynton Commodores

Anne Hibbert the much loved wife of the late Mike Hibbert passed away last Sunday 6th January. Anne made a real difference to the lives of all who were members of the Poynton Commodores; her home was known as the Hibbert Hotel where many weary Commodores spent the night after long hours of rehearsal. She worked tirelessly to support the corps raising money, baking, making sandwiches, running the tuck shop, sorting and cleaning jumble, purchasing and cooking all the food for camps. Her legendary breakfasts will long be remembered and her roast dinners too. Her hard work made the corps what it is today.

Andy posted the following on the Commodores website:
The funeral will be taking place at Stockport Crematorium, Rowan Chapel at 12:15 on Monday 21/01/08. We would also like to invite everybody back to the Amici restaurant located on the A6 near the crematorium entrance. 

Everybody who knew our mum is very welcome at the funeral, also it will be nice to catch up with you all back at The Amici Restaurant. 

Family flowers only, however donations to Cancer Research to be sent/given to George Hill Funeral Directors 71 London Road Hazel Grove Stockport SK7 4AX Tel.0161 483 3414 who are collecting on our behalf.
