Black Knights to Appear in New E4 Sketch Show

Black Knights from Gravesend in Kent, are to appear in two episodes of a new comedy sketch show, “Beehive” to be shown on E4 later in the year.

The show, to consist of five episodes, will star stand-up comedian Sarah Kendall, Alice Lowe (Garth Margenhi's Darkplace), Barunka O'Shaughnessy (Respectable) and Clare Thompson from the sketch group 'Piggy Nero'.

The show’s producers, Tiger Aspect were keen to involve Black Knights in the project following their work on the Samsung Viral shoot earlier this month. Members of the corps will be filming on two dates in September.

Rus Rogers from the Black Knights development team adds: “We have been working hard this year to raise the corps profile and develop new performance opportunities and experiences for our members. We are very happy that our efforts are paying off.”

Black Knights in New Pizza Hut Commercial!!!

Following the success of the Samsung Viral video, which has now had over half a millions worldwide hits on YouTube, the Black Knights from Gravesend in Kent are to appear in a new TV commercial for Pizza Hut.

Management from Black Knights sealed the deal to provide a Drum Corps for the commercial, which is filming over 2 days at the beginning of September.

This is the next is a series of exciting opportunities that the management of the Corps have developed for their members, however this time they are opening the opportunity up to other interested parties.

Members of Black Knights will have first refusal at the available spots in the commercial, however should spots become available they will be happy to include people from other bands or corps.  Spots would potentially be available for marching percussion, brass and colour-guard.
