Over the past few years MPAUK, in conjunction with WGUK, has supported the formation of a competitive Indoor Percussion circuit and in 2010 went into partnership with Indoor Percussion Europe to help further promote this relatively new activity in the UK.

The number of UK units taking part has been around 3 to 5 each year and so this has not really been big enough for contests to be held independently of an existing Winterguard show however even when an IP contest has been scheduled the take up has been, to say the least, disappointing with units not being able to commit until mid to late March which has normally just meant them formally competing in a Finals contest only!

MPAUK is now asking all organisation/units considering taking part within the UK Indoor Percussion circuit in 2011 to make contact as soon as possible, with no obligation, so that a decision can be made as to how best move forward over the next 6 to 8 months.
