Two UK corps at the DCE European Championships will be performing at the 
market square in Kerkrade on Friday night. The Black Knights and The 6th 
will be giving spectators a free preview. Their performances are 
interspersed by spectacular demonstrations from break dance group The Beat 
Puppets from Heerlen.

DCE is delighted that, like last year, in cooperation with local businesses 
and the WMC, there will also be drum corps performing in the town 
centre. "We hope that the British corps will warm up the shoppers for the 
European Championships", stated Chairman Marcel Matthijsse. "It is great to 
get a taste of what is to come in the centre of Kerkrade, as a preview of 
the performances that will be given at the Parkstad Limburg Stadium the 
next day."

The 6th will perform at 7.45 PM, and the Black Knights are scheduled for 
8.25 PM. Break dance group The Beat Puppets will entertain people
