Now that the summer’s excitement has died down and the planning for 2012 has begun in earnest, here’s a date to write firmly into your shiny new diary :

SATURDAY 12th MAY 2012

That’s the date for your opportunity to preview your 2012 musical show in front of a large, appreciative audience with no judging pressures in an exciting and atmospheric venue. Even better facilities thanks to feedback from 2011 participants.
The first major “banding” event of the calendar.

“SPRING PREVIEW”

Presented by Concord Youth Music

will take place at The Blue Shed, Brightside Lane, Sheffield (www.theblueshed.co.uk)

AND EVERYONE IS INVITED

Whether you’re in DCUK, BYBA, TYMBA, IMBA, MDBA, (look it up) or any other 
banding group or organisation
Based in the North, South, Midlands, Ireland or mainland Europe
This is the place to be for an amazing day of entertainment, excitement and a great social atmosphere for both participants and spectators

Licensed bar and refreshments available
Lots of free parking
350 spectator seats (ticket details soon)

Last year we were very nearly full to capacity and it may be necessary to impose a limit on the number of units participating. We will accept applications on a strictly “first come, first served” basis using the date your formal acceptance (and £20 entry fee) of the invitation arrives with us. If the event is able to cover its costs there will be a repayment to participants (last year we were able to refund the full entry fee). 
Entries will be accepted (with payment) from 1st December 2011.
