Treasurer to the Rescue

Phoenix would like to say a massive "thank you" to Nigel Brown, the DCUK Treasurer, for his act of genuine kindness, when their minibus broke down on the M69 last weekend.

Nigel came to the rescue as he had been at a meeting in Leicester with fellow trustee Keith Morris and was on his way back down south and saw members of the Corps on the opposite side of the motorway.  He came off at the next junction and turned back up the motorway and offered to help transporting the Phoenix members to Leicester where the corps were taking part in a Parade.

Keith Morris, Corps Director of Phoenix Coventry, added "On behalf of myself and Phoenix can I say how grateful we all are for his help".
