Competition hots up at Woking

The hottest day of the year on Sunday 30th June saw 7 Open Class Corps and 4 Junior Class Corps descend on Woking Town FC for the second DCUK contest of the 2013 season.

Following the Bradford contest two weeks earlier The Company retained its lead (73.90) but the gap was closed by Kidsgrove Scouts (72.35) with Black Knights competing for the first time this season taking the 3rd Place spot (68.05).

Quite a points gap then into 4th Place for Nexus (56.45) with Cadence in 5th (46.30) followed by The Pacemakers (42.15) and then Beeches (39.80).

In the Junior Class Kidsgrove Juniors took the honours (49.05) with Black Knights Cadets coming 2nd (42.05) followed closely by Cadence Juniors (40.70) and then Cadence Cadets (30.85).

The next DCUK contest is only 2 weeks away in Barnsley with 10 Open Class and 2 Junior Corps - got the makings of an exciting closure to the first part of the season!
