Cadence Guildford Cadets go from strength to strength

After a very enjoyable and successful 2006 Cadence Guildford move into 2007 in great shape.  Despite around 15 of the 2006 members moving up into the Cadence senior corps they have been hugely successful in keeping our membership strong. To date they have around 70 in the Cadets. This is mainly the result of moving schools and attending an assembly. "The kids just keep pouring in, band seems to be cool again" said Paul Newman, Corps Director. "We know from many years of experience that this will be very hard work, many of the new members will leave which is normal and it is tough training so many new kids, but we have a great staff set up who are working wonders with the kids"

The Corps are always looking for more staff to help with their Cadets or the newly formed main Corps and anyone interested please get in touch.

They are also after buying G Bugles 2 or 3 valve. Sops, mellos, altos, flugals and dynabones, wedge snares, marching bells and any drum sticks.
