Senators Announce New Partnerships

The Senators Drum and Bugle Corps from Eastleigh, Hampshire are pleased to announce two new strategic partnerships:

Make Music inc. the makers of Finale 2007

Finale is the worlds leading notation software and the partnership will allow the Senators to broaden their outlook to wider performance related opportunities

With the advent of Indoor Percussion shows using electronics, through to small ensemble performance pieces, Finale will allow the Corps to offer a professional result to its members and its customers.

Richard Llewellyn from Make Music commented “Our mission is to enhance and transform the experience of making music, teaching music, and learning music, we are pleased to work with the Senators and enhance their reputation as market leaders in the field of Marching Arts”

The Senators are very proud to be associated with such a world renowned company and to add them to a very impressive list of suppliers who wish to associate themselves with the Corps

Pygraphics inc. the makers of Pyware 3D Java.

Pyware 3D Java is the premier drill design product on the market and the most widely used package available.

The Senators have used the Pyware product in drill designs since 2001 when one of our staff purchased the original Pyware 3D program; we had found it an excellent aid in creating innovative visual designs, coupled with the ability to print off member co-ordinates

As the Corps moved forward and we experimented with different areas of visual performance including Indoor Percussion we felt the time was right to re-evaluate our drill design capabilities

Pygraphics were very supportive and have provided Craig Sherratt the Senators Visual Designer and Caption Head with the latest version of the software, which is Pyware 3D Java version 4.0, together with the innovative “Pyware Performance Simulator and March Pad”

The Simulator and March Pad accurately evaluates and scores their ability to keep strict tempo and perform all steps offs of every new direction change as they march their individual part with the step off method used by many high schools and drum corps.

Dustin Merrell of Pygraphics commented “The Senators are at the cutting edge of visual design in Europe as their results continually show, we were very impressed with the work ethic and enthusiasm shown and we are very happy to support such a fine organisation”
