DCUK
To Attend Meetings with UK & Euro Partners
Following our recent announcement, two strategic meetings are now scheduled to take place involving
DCUK Board members which will take place over the coming weeks.
DCUK, along with all major European Drum Corps & Marching Band Associations, have been invited by Drum Corps Europe (DCE) to a meeting in Brussels on Saturday 25th November. The purpose of this meeting, the first of its kind, is to discuss continued co-operation and explore opportunities which can help promote the drum corps activity on a Europe-wide basis.
Following the DCE Meeting, DCUK will meet with representatives of the British Youth Band Association (BYBA) on Sunday 3rd December. DCUK & MPA-UK are committed to working with, rather than against, an organisation that we see as having similar aims and objectives to our own and firmly believe that this can only help the marching arts activity in this country to prosper.
The DCUK Team are extremely excited with the developments that have taken place since its inception and are looking forward to reporting the outcomes of these two important meetings to you soon.
Reports from both meetings will be posted on this website.
