DCUK Championships 17 - timetable and information released 

Next Saturday, 23rd September, is the 38th British Drum Corps Championships being held at the Select Security Stadium in Widnes, Cheshire.

The timetable has now been released and a full version is available to download as a PDF on the Championships webpage but the headline times are...

Doors open: 12:00
Prelim starts: 12:45
DrumLine Battle: 16:15
Exhibitions: 16:45
Junior Class Finals: 17:45
Open Class Finals: 18:12
DrumLine Battle Final: 21:00
All Results: 21:15

In addition we have four units competing in the DrumLine Batte (Concord AllStars, Liberty, The Pacemakers and Thurrock Marching Brass) which will be followed by some exhibition performances (full details to be announced) before we move into the Finals competitions commencing at 5.45pm.

Advance ticket sales remain open until Thursday night (21st September) and the Box Office will then open at the venue on the day at approx 10.30am.

Please note that  it is possible the new bridge across the River Mersey linking Runcorn & Widnes could be open by 23rd September and if so a Toll Charge is payable to cross this bridge or the old existing one - more details can be found at http://www.merseygateway.co.uk/.  Regardless of this please give yourself plenty of time to reach the venue as there could be traffic congestion.
