DCUK Championships at Widnes - let's look back

In 2013 the DCUK British Drum Corps Championships moved to a new home - the Halton Stadium in Widnes, Cheshire. The venue is currently the home ground of Rugby League side Widnes Vikings of the Betfred Championship, and American football side Halton Spartans of the BAFA National Leagues (Source: Wikipedia).

The stadium has had a couple of name changes over the past 9 years - between 2013 and 2018 was called Select Security Stadium and now it is known as DCBL Stadium - and we are extremely pleased to confirm it will be the event venue once again when we return in 2022, after a two year hiatus due to the Coronavirus pandemic, for the 41st British Drum Corps Championships.

There have been 26 Corps that have competed in Finals competition at the stadium and over the next few weeks on the DCUK Facebook page we will feature video highlights of the last performances made at the venue by all these units:-
