Forgemen Attempt World Record

Starting on Friday 10th June, 9 members of the Forgemen percussion section are making an attempt at the World Team Drumming Marathon Record. The current record, which was set earlier this year by a team of 9 Kenyan drummers, stands at 100 hours. Our aim is to beat this record, and get Forgemen, DCUK and the British Drum Corps activity into the Guinness Book of World Records.

For anyone who would like to come along and support these brave guys and gals, who will each have to drum non stop for 8 hours at a time, the attempt is being staged at Tesco Superstore in Clowne, Derbyshire.

For directions and times, please drop me them e-mail. They would like to thank Tesco, Redbull, Evans, Innovative Percussion, DEG Dynsasty and Muremo for their help in making this attempt possible.
