Corps enter the DCE Power Regional
Since the original announcement early in the new year
listing the Corps registered for the DCE
Power Regional taking place on Saturday 21st June
2008 at Crystal Palace two more Corps have now entered
bringing the current total up to 14.
DCE Chairman Marcel Matthijsse welcomed the
announcement from 6th Hove that they were taking
part and said "I was particularly pleased to see
them register for the Power Regional. They have been
great supporters of DCE and I look forward to seeing
them again in 2008."
Federatieband has been a successful competitor in the Drum Corps Netherlands and Drum Corps Europe circuits for many years. "We love performing at the DCE Championships and to meet so many British corps. Now it's our turn to cross the North Sea", said corps director Marcel Vrolijk from the Federatieband. "We're looking forward to a fantastic experience for our members."
The Power Regional now features 14 corps, including 5 corps from
mainland Europe (Blue Lions from France and Jubal, Jong Jubal, Federatieband and Juliana from The Netherlands).
The Power Regional will be restricted to a maximum of 22 corps and will accept entries until this number is reached, or until the closing date of Sunday April 27th.
