In the morning and early afternoon 12 Corps competed
to decide which 8 would go through to compete for the
Open Class Championships with the remainder moving into
A Class.
In Junior Class 6th Hove B Corps fought off strong

During the day Spirit of Coventry entertained the
audience just prior to the A Class event and as the
floodlights came on, following a specially commission
fanfare by the Concord Fanfare team, the Dagenham
Crusaders entered the field bringing back memories of 30
years ago and performed an exhibition that was classic
Dagenham which bought the audience to their feet and was
a fitting start the Open Class Finals.
The event was covered by both DrumCorpsMedia and Drum
Corps World and photos taken by both these will
available soon - details to follow.
So the first 30 years come to a close on a perfect
night for Drum Corps - here is to the next 30!
