Premier helps DCUK Champions Kidsgrove Scouts Celebrate 100 Years

Reigning DCUK champions Kidsgrove Scouts are celebrating their Centenary in 2010 with a 100-strong membership and a fantastic tour of the USA. The corps will fly out to the US on the 24th August, compete in the DCA Bridgeport show and then move to Rochester, NY to compete at the 2010 DCA World Championships which take place September 3rd to 5th.
To celebrate the Centenary, Premier has provided a full set of custom Revolution Series marching drums to the corps in a specially commissioned, unique lacquer finish called 'Century Sparkle Fade'.
Kidsgrove Scouts Percussion Caption Head, James Moore visited Premier's General Sales Manager & Marching Product Specialist, Sven Parris at the company's HQ in Leicestershire, England to view the custom finish.

The Kidsgrove Scouts organisation consists of four units, an open-age drum corps, a junior corps, and both junior and senior winter guard units. The open age corps will take the field for the first time in competition on June 20th performing their 2010 production 'Heist of the Century'
