SoundSport
Bristol continues to grow
With
only a few days left to register to be part of the SoundSport
Bristol event talking place on Saturday 21st March at Filton College
Bristol the organisers are pleased to announce that, so far, units
from England, Scotland and Ireland have committed to take part in
this ground breaking event on UK soil.
There is still time for additional units to
come along and take part and all you need to do is email soundsport@drumcorpseurope.org
with details of your unit or contact
DCUK who can pass on the information for you.
SoundSport is the ideal platform for smaller
performing units using any combination of instrumentation and so why
not give it a go.
SoundSport® events showcase instrumental ensembles of any instrumentation and any skill level year-round, spotlighting their unique talents and creativity like never before.
SoundSport®’s goal is to be local, low cost and entertaining for both the participants and the audience
SoundSport® teams can be colleges, high schools, middle schools, independent, alumni corps, small drum corps or whatever you can dream up
There are no age restrictions and all instruments are legal
SoundSport® teams consist of five or more members
Shows are 5-7 minutes in length with a focus on music
The performance area is 20 yards deep and 30 yards wide
The European SoundSport event
is a partnership between DCI, the Kidsgrove Scouts Drum & Bugle
Corps, DCUK, BYBA and DCE.
