What is "Trash!"?

Trash! is a subdivision of the Blue Diamonds Drum & Bugle Corps of Germany. Originally, it was only an idea for the party on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Blue Diamonds in the summer of 2004. 12 drummers practised once a week in Nienhagen using rubber cans, metal buckets and other trash-related objects, playing themes by Chris Crockarell. trash! had its debut on August 28th. Without the usual uniforms and discipline of a drum corps, the drummers performed their first show on stage shouting, dancing, clapping hands, and stomping on the floor, using fireworks and a light show. The audience applauded enthusiastically! As a result, trash! decided to continue the performance. Since their original performance, trash! has had about 12 more gigs in their region. Every spring CGN arranges contests for colorguard and percussion in several stadiums so trash! also planned to compete in the Netherlands - and got the 2nd place!
