Registration for DCUK 2009 closes on 5th June

With the 2009 summer season fast approaching Drum Corps United Kingdom will be closing registrations for their 30th Anniversary Championships on Friday 5th June.

Currently there are 12 "Open Class" Corps and 5 Junior Class Corps registered and if any further Corps wish to take part on Saturday 19th September then all they need to do is complete the on-line registration form within the next 4 weeks.  These Corps will then have until 5th July to complete their registration to qualify for a reduction in the Championships Registration Fee.

Any Corps that register after 5th June will be placed on a waiting list in case of any withdrawals.

The DCUK Board will be meeting shortly after the June cut off date to finalise further aspects for the Championships event including the number of Corps that will, after the morning prelims, go through to Open Class Finals and those which will compete for the A Class title.

Registrations for the three season shows are welcome at any time and every attempt will be made to fit Corps that register into those events.

The 30th British Drum Corps Championships will be an event not to missed with all the top Corps from across the UK in attendance plus exhibition performances from at least 3 Alumni Corps making up a full day of entertainment.
